Piblet Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 13, 2026

Overview

Piblet is a minimalist web browser for iOS. This policy explains how information is handled when you use Piblet.

Information Piblet collects

Piblet does not require you to create an account and does not intentionally collect personal information about you through the app.

Web browsing

When you visit a website through Piblet, your device communicates directly with that website and with services used by that website. Those websites may collect information according to their own privacy policies. Piblet does not control the privacy practices of third-party websites.

Camera access

Piblet may request camera access so you can scan QR codes. Camera access is used for QR-code scanning and is not used to create a user account or profile.

Browser data

Websites opened in Piblet may use standard web technologies such as cookies, local storage, and other browser storage provided by WebKit. This data is controlled by the websites you visit and by Piblet's browser session behavior.

Analytics and advertising

The current version of Piblet does not include third-party advertising SDKs or third-party analytics SDKs.

Children's privacy

Piblet is not designed to collect personal information from children. Websites opened through Piblet are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Changes to this policy

This privacy policy may be updated as Piblet changes. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
